After having some bad experiences (where I was overcharged and underwhelmed by the service), I turned to Yelp and found Ageless.

Sherwood came to my house promptly and was a complete professional - and extremely personable! Their prices were extremely reasonable and the work was done well. Did I also mention they rescued a family of baby birds that took up residence in my chimney?! Ha!

I will absolutely use them again. read less

The guys showed up and really took care of business. We had the upper portion of our chimney rebuilt and it looks amazing. Very clean job. We also had the metal chimney liner put in and now we don't have to worry about the old terra cotta lining. Bobby and the guys at Ageless Chimney are professional, knowledgeable, clean and on point. They were terrific -- turned up on time, showed us pictures/videos of the work that needed doing (and more pictures after they had done it), and offered good prices. Christian and Bob came back to do the work that we needed on a Saturday, and they were extremely professional and efficient, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. read less

Left no mess to be cleaned up, they were very careful when going in and out of the yard to make sure our dog didn't get loose. She scheduled to have someone come out for an estimate a few days after my call. Someone called to confirm the appt a couple of days prior. Charlie and Terry showed up early (could it get any better?!) and my parents felt so comfortable with their ability to complete the work, they had them just take care of it on the spot! Not only were they punctual and courteous but they did an amazing job updating the inside and outside of my chimney. Those of you from Levittown know that these houses have been around the block and then some. After coming by to give us an estimate on a chimney cap, they noticed that the top three rows of our chimney was coming apart. With winter coming around the corner, I didn't want to waste any time getting the job done. These guys knew things were getting pretty busy as well and were able to fit us in that day. In a matter of two hours they completely re-did the masonry on our chimney, inserted a stainless steel liner, and installed an new flue and cap.

Their attention to detail while minimizing the impact to a lazy Saturday afternoon was much appreciated by me and my wife. I recommend this family owned business to anyone needing that special attention to their chimney and home. read less

They are consumate professionals. I was in need of a walkway to be built in front of my 94 year old mother's house. This was a logistical nightmare as I live 60 miles away. Communicating with Sherwood either directly or through Cheryl was easy, effective and efficient. I was offered 2 options, pavers or cement and 2 estimates for the job. We opted for the pavers which were slightly more expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Sherwood and his team were prompt, organized and did a wonderful job. I originally asked for chimney and boiler sweep but one of the guys took a look and said I didn't need the boiler sweep which id have never known. They were fast and efficient. When they went up to the roof they took pictures to show the damage I had and offered an estimate for future work. The crew arrived right on time after calling in advance to confirm their arrival. Once they got here, they scoped out the problem (basically an old roof in need of repair) and declined to charge anything--even for their time. I was prepared to spend several hundred dollars to fix the problem. Having been recently scammed by an earlier chimney con artist who asked my parents to shell out more than 1k for essentially no work, we were surprised and grateful for the honesty of these guys. We will call them again if we have any more problems. read less

From that first call to the completion of the job, the many 5 star reviews were right on -- so I'm adding one.

Joe and his assistant arrived early and got right to work, quoting me a very fair price for a full sweep. Little did he know that he would find triple the amount of soot than generally encountered.

Not only did they complete the job with no additional cost (I would have understood an upcharge for the amount of work), but Joe suggested we have the burner serviced as the amount of soot indicated to him a potential failing unit.

These guys did a great job, kept a dirty job from messing up the house -- and made a friend with my dog! They also have a loyal customer moving forward. read less
